ShearWater boats are built by American Marine Sports in Groveland, Florida, the same company that has been building Gambler bass boats for many years. ShearWater boats were designed to improve or fix the shortcomings of other bay boats. They have achieved their goal with ShearWater bay boats.

American Marine Sports has created a boat that can float and run the the skinniest waters and can take choppy bays and 2 to 3 foot seas without the fear of sinking. ShearWater boats are the ideal boat for a fisherman who likes to stalk shallow water redfish and trout along with deep water fish like grouper, tarpon, kingfish and cobia.

ShearWater boats offers bay boats ranging in size from 20 to 24 feet and come factory equipped with Mercury, Yamaha, and Evinrude.
